Abstract:
Each of polyimide-coated active material particles (21) according to the present invention comprises an active material particle (23) and a polyimide layer (24) that is derived from a monomeric polyimide precursor and covers the active material particle (23). A negative electrode (200) according to the present invention is provided with: a collector (30); and an active material layer (20) that contains negative electrode active material particles (21), each of which is covered by a polyimide layer (24) that is derived from a monomeric polyimide precursor, and an aqueous binder (22). The polyimide-coated active material particles according to the present invention are capable of suppressing the amount of an organic solvent used therefor, and are also capable of improving the charge/discharge cycle of an electrode.
