Provided is a polyimide precursor for a display substrate for forming a polyimide film for the display substrate in which the electrostatic charge attenuation rate for an electrostatic charge half-life of at least 48 seconds and/or after 120 seconds according to an electrostatic charge half-life measurement based on JIS L 1094 A is not more than 63%.
