Abstract:
Provided is a polymer capable of giving a coating film which has satisfactory initial adhesion to bases, has satisfactory adhesion even after a pressure cooker test, and is excellent in terms of the abrasive resistance determined by a falling-sand abrasion test. The polymer is characterized by comprising perhaloolefin units, vinyl ester units containing neither a hydroxy group nor any aromatic ring, and hydroxylated-monomer units and by having a hydroxyl value of 110 mg-KOH/g or greater.
