Abstract:

In the present invention, a polymer compound containing a constitutional unit represented by formula (1), formula (2), formula (3) or formula (4) can be used to produce an organic thin film solar cell having a high open end voltage. (In formula (1) to formula (4), Ar1 denotes a trivalent aromatic carbocyclic group or a trivalent aromatic heterocyclic group. Ar2 denotes a tetravalent aromatic carbocyclic group or a tetravalent aromatic heterocyclic group. Z denotes -O-, -S-, -C(=O)-, -S(=O)-, -SO2-, -Si(R)2-, -N(R)-, -B(R)-, -P(R)- or -P(=O)(R)-. R denotes a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a monovalent group.)
