Abstract:
Provided are a polymer compound that exhibits a high rate of dissolution in solvents, and a method for producing the polymer compound. A polymer compound that has a tap density of 0.02 g/cm3-0.13 g/cm3 and contains at least one constituent unit selected from the group consisting of a constituent unit represented by formula (1-1) and a constituent unit represented by formula (1-2). A method for producing a polymer compound that contains at least one constituent unit selected from the group consisting of a constituent unit represented by formula (1-1) and a constituent unit represented by formula (1-2), the method comprising a step of mixing a mixture that contains the polymer compound containing at least one constituent unit selected from the group consisting of the constituent unit represented by formula (1-1) and the constituent unit represented by formula (1-2) and that contains a good solvent for the polymer compound, with a poor solvent for the polymer compound at 35°C-75°C, and removing the resulting precipitate.
