Abstract:
A polymer that contains a structural unit represented by general formula (I), a flame-retardant composition comprising the polymer, and a method of producing the polymer. [In general formula (I), R1 represents one selected from the group consisting of an alkyl group having 1-18 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 2-18 carbon atoms and an aralkyl group having 7-18 carbon atoms, and R2 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group. R3 and R4 independently represent one selected from the group consisting of an alkyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms, an alkyloxy group having 1-6 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 2-6 carbon atoms, an alkenyloxy group having 2-6 carbon atoms, an aralkyl group having 7-12 carbon atoms, an aralkyloxy group having 7-12 carbon atoms, an aryl group having 6-12 carbon atoms and an aryloxy group having 6-12 carbon atoms. R3 and R4 may be bonded together, and n is an integer of 0-5.]
