Abstract:
Provided is a polymer for positive electrode active material coating of lithium ion batteries, which is capable of suppressing gas generation during storage at high temperatures and is also capable of preventing increase of battery resistance. A polymer for positive electrode active material coating of lithium ion batteries, which is represented by formula (1). (In formula (1), x represents a positive number; y represents a number of 0 or more; each of R1-R6 independently represents a hydrogen atom or a linear or branched hydrocarbon group; A represents a group represented by formula (1A) (wherein A1 represents a linear or branched alkylene group, a linear or branched alkenylene group, or a substituted or unsubstituted monocyclic or fused polycyclic arylene group; A2 represents an alkylene group represented by -(CH2)n-, wherein n represents an integer of 0-10; X represents a hydrogen atom or an alkali metal atom; and the wavy line represents a bonding position); and B represents a polar group.)
