Abstract:
A macromolecular functional membrane for removing nitrate ions contains as component A an ion exchange polymer containing a building block represented by formula CL, and has an ion exchange capacity represented by formula a of 2.5-6.0 meq/g inclusive, and a density of cross-linking groups represented by formula b of 0.9-2.0 mmol/g inclusive. Formula a: Ion exchange capacity = (Amount of ionic groups in membrane (meq))/(Dry weight of membrane). Formula b: Density of cross-linking groups = (Amount of component A in membrane (mmol))/(Dry weight of membrane).
