Abstract:
The problem addressed by the present invention is to provide: a polymerizable compound having high orientation and high storage stability when constituting a polymerizable liquid crystal composition and having a low refractive index anisotropy; and a polymerizable liquid crystal composition containing the polymerizable compound. Further provided are: a polymer obtained by polymerizing the polymerizable liquid crystal composition; and an optically anisotropic body that uses the polymer. Provided is a polymerizable compound represented by general formula (I), and provided are: a polymerizable liquid crystal composition having the compound as a constituent member; and furthermore, a polymer obtained by polymerizing the polymerizable liquid crystal composition and an optically anisotropic body that uses the polymer.
