Abstract:

The present invention relates to a polymerizable compound and a liquid crystal composition comprising the polymerizable compound and, more specifically, to a polymerizable compound, which is used in the manufacture of a polymer stabilized alignment (PSA) or polymer stabilized-vertical aligned (PS-VA) mode liquid crystal display, and to a liquid crystal composition comprising the polymerizable compound. The compound according to the present invention exhibits low-temperature stability, and acquires an effect of improving the pre-tilt angle of liquid crystals in the photo-polymerization by UV.
