Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a polymerizable liquid crystal composition that enables the achievement of an optically anisotropic film which has reverse wavelength dispersion properties and excellent uniformity, while being free from unevenness and alignment defects, and which is able to be stably superposed on various functional layers; and an optically anisotropic film, an optical film and a polarizing plate, each of which utilizes this polymerizable liquid crystal composition. A polymerizable liquid crystal composition according to the present invention contains a polymerizable liquid crystal compound that has reverse wavelength dispersion properties, and at least two fluoroaliphatic group-containing polymers, each of which contains a constituent unit represented by formula (A) and a constituent unit derived from a fluoroaliphatic group-containing monomer; at least one of the fluoroaliphatic group-containing polymers is a polymer (A-1) wherein X in formula (A) represents a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic fused ring functional group; at least one of the fluoroaliphatic group-containing polymers, which is different from the polymer (A-1), is a polymer (A-2) wherein X in formula (A) represents a substituted or unsubstituted monocyclic functional group, said polymer (A-2) having a higher weight average molecular weight than the polymer (A-1).
