Abstract:
Provided is a polymerization catalyst capable of improving polymerization activity when copolymerizing. This polymerization catalyst is characterized by containing a principal catalyst (Component (A)) which has a ligand represented by general formula (I) [In the formula, Cp represents a cyclopentadiene-based skeleton selected from a cyclopentadiene skeleton, an indene skeleton, and a fluorene skeleton, Ph represents an aromatic ring, R1 represents a single bond or an arbitrary group, and R2 each represent the same or a different arbitrary group].
