Abstract:

The present invention is a polymerization inhibitor to be used to rectify a (meth)acrylic acid ester from a composition containing a (meth)acrylic acid ester obtained by a dehydration esterification reaction or transesterification reaction, wherein the polymerization inhibitor is one or more selected from compounds represented by general formula (1) and compounds represented by general formula (2). The polymerization inhibitor can rectify the (meth)acrylic acid ester from a composition containing a (meth)acrylic acid ester obtained by a dehydration esterification reaction or a transesterification reaction.
