Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a coating composition which is used as a primer of a polypropylene substrate used for automobile exterior components and the like, which has excellent chemical resistance and high-pressure car wash characteristics better than conventional products, and from which a coating having excellent storage stability is obtained. [Solution] This solvent-based coating composition is characterized by containing a modified polyolefin (A) having a glass transition temperature of -30°C or higher, and a (meth)acrylic resin (B) having a glass transition temperature of 0°C or higher, and having a hydroxyl value of 5-100 mgKOH/g or an acid value of 0-30 mgKOH/g, and is characterized in that a (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer forming the (meth)acrylic resin contains a methyl(meth)acrylate, an ethyl (meth)acrylate, a cyclohexyl(meth)acrylate, a 2-ethyl hexyl(meth)acrylate, or a (meth)acrylate having an OH group.
