Abstract:
The present invention relates to a polysorbate-succinic acid-carnitine complex, and a bioactive substance or a drug delivery composition comprising same. More specifically, provided is an oral insulin preparation enabling insulin to be orally administered using the polysorbate 80-succinic acid-carnitine complex, and thus can remarkably reduce the typical discomfort and side effects caused by insulin injections of diabetic patients, and allows hypoglycemic effects to last for a long time, thereby being effectively used in the treatment and prevention of diabetes.
