Abstract:
A polytricyclopentadiene (PTCPD) polymer material, a preparation method therefor, and an application thereof. The polymer material comprises the following components: tricyclopentadiene (TCPD) and a catalyst, wherein the weight percentage of TCPD is greater than or equal to 50% and less than 100%. Due to the large molecular weight and high rigidity of TCPD, the rigidity of a prepared PTCPD polymer material is far greater than that of an existing polydicyclopentadiene polymer material, and thus the technical problem in the prior art of insufficient rigidity of the polydicyclopentadiene material is solved. In addition, the PTCPD polymer material also has excellent properties such as acid resistance, alkali resistance, seawater corrosion resistance, and fatigue resistance, and is suitable for fields of vehicles, ships, chemical pipelines and containers, sewage treatment tanks, medical equipment, sports and entertainment equipment, sanitary products, wind power blades, fan impeller, deep sea aquaculture cage equipment, etc.
