Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: a polyurethane elastomer composition which retains material properties required for cleaning blades and is capable of attaining both improved pot life and improved vulcanization properties; a method for producing a cleaning blade; and the cleaning blade. [Solution] A polyurethane elastomer composition for use in producing cleaning blades, which includes a casting-type polyurethane elastomer, the composition comprising: a bifunctional polyol; a polyisocyanate; a hardener; a positive catalyst that is an imidazole compound and accelerates a urethanation reaction; a negative catalyst that is a carboxylic acid compound and restricts the catalysis of the positive catalyst in accordance with the temperature; and a blocking agent that protects the isocyanate groups of the polyisocyanate.
