Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of outputting information about the population of a finer region. A population output device 1 is provided with: a storage unit 11 that stores an estimation model for outputting population information about an estimated population for each type of map element of an area by receiving input of area information that is about the area and includes information about the population of the area and information about an aggregate value for each type of map element for one or more map elements constituting map data of the area; an acquisition unit 10 that acquires area information about a target area; and an output unit 13 that outputs population information about the target area, said population information being output from the estimation model stored by the storage unit 11 when the area information about the target area acquired by the acquisition unit 10 is input into the estimation model.
