Abstract:
This porous ion exchanger comprises: a first porous ion-exchange composition (2) obtained by mixing first binder particles (5) dispersed in water or in a solvent with first fine ion-exchange resin particles (4) to obtain a paste, forming the resultant first mixture into a sheet, and drying the sheet or by mixing first binder particles (5) with a first ion-exchange resin (4), forming the resultant second mixture into a sheet, and sintering the sheet; and a second porous ion-exchange composition (3) obtained by mixing second binder particles (45) dispersed in water or in a solvent with second fine ion-exchange resin particles (6) to obtain a paste, forming the resultant third mixture into a sheet, and drying the sheet or by mixing second binder particles (45) with a second ion-exchange resin (6), forming the resultant fourth mixture into a sheet, and sintering the sheet. The porous ion exchanger is obtained by bonding the first porous ion-exchange composition (2) to the second porous ion-exchange composition (3).
