Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a porous member and an air purifier which are capable of exhibiting improved performance. [Solution] The present invention provides a porous member 20 and an air purifier 1. The porous member 20 has a visible light-responsive photocatalyst 21 and/or a fulvic acid supported on a porous carrier 22, wherein the visible light-responsive photocatalyst 21 is a bio-fusion photocatalyst. The visible light-responsive photocatalyst 21 is a titanium oxide coated with silk-containing apatite and has an average particle size of 30-500 nm. The porous carrier is a foam glass, and the foam glass contains apatite. The foam glass is obtained by baking a glass-seashell mixture. The air purifier 1 has: a filled body 30 filled with the porous member 20; an enclosure 10 surrounding the filled body 30; and an air blower 40 for blowing air to the filled body 30.
