Abstract:
A porous metal which has a three-dimensional network structure constituted of an alloy comprising Ni and Cr, the porous metal being characterized in that the porous metal has a framework which is constituted of a shell having a hollow at the center and that when the cross-section of the shell is equally divided in the thickness directions into three portions, i.e., outer, central, and inner portions, and the concentrations, in terms of percent by weight, of Cr in the outer portion, the central portion, and the inner portion are expressed by a, b, and c, respectively, then the a, b, and c satisfy the relationship (1).
