Title:
POROUS NETWORK COMPLEX, NETWORK COMPLEX ENCAPSULATING GUEST MOLECULE, AND METHOD FOR SEPARATING GUEST MOLECULE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/062260
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed are a porous network complex comprising, as a structural unit, an M6L4 structure being constituted in a self-assembled manner by six transition metal ions (M) and four substantially planar tridentate organic ligands (L) and having an octahedral three-dimensional shape in which the transition metal ions (M) are positioned at six vertices thereof, wherein said M6L4 structures are consecutively arranged sharing the transition metal ions (M) positioned at the individual vertices thereof; a network complex encapsulating a guest molecule wherein a guest molecule is encapsulated in a pore of said porous network complex; and a method for separating a guest molecule such as fullerene C70 or the like using said porous network structure. Thus, a novel porous network complex encapsulating various chemicals in pores, a network complex encapsulating a guest molecule wherein a chemical is encapsulated in said network complex, and a method for separating a guest molecule, whereby a specific guest molecule is separated from a mixture of guest molecules, can be provided.
