Abstract:
A porous Raney-metal object in which at lest the inner surface of the pores of the porous object is constituted of an alloy of a framework metal constituting the object with a metal different therefrom. New measures have been realized by which a Raney metal in the state of having a porous structure can be alloyed and the porous structure as a base can be greatly improved in function or activity. This porous metal is utilized as a catalyst, etc.
