The present invention relates to a portable air-flowing apparatus and a control method thereof. The portable air-flowing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise a base portion, a head portion, and a pillar portion. The pillar portion may allow the base portion and the head portion to be coupled to each other while being spaced from each other in the vertical direction. The head portion according to the embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a suction portion sucking air; and a discharge portion discharging the air sucked by the suction portion. Here, the suction portion and the discharge portion may be provided in the head portion to be eccentric in the horizontal direction. As such, the efficiency of sucking and discharging oil vapor, etc. can be improved due to the structure of the suction portion and the discharge portion that are eccentric in the horizontal direction.
