The present invention relates to the technical field of detection devices. A portable detection device for information engineering, the device comprising a box body (1). The upper surface of the box body (1) is hinged to a box cover (2), wherein the bottom face of the box cover (2) is snap-fitted with the upper surface of the box body (1), and the upper surface of the box cover (2) is provided with a first recess (3). Snap-fitting mechanisms (6) are mounted on inner walls of F-shaped through slots (4); left and right side faces of a handle (9) are both provided with limiting slots (17); strap mechanisms (10) are mounted on inner walls of second slots (5); and the other ends of two ventilation channels (13) are both in communication with the interior of a circular recess (11). A detection device body (24) is placed on an inner bottom wall of the box body (1). The device is rational in design structure. By means of the cooperative arrangement between the snap-fitting mechanisms and the strap mechanisms, straps can extend outwards, and the apparatus can be carried on the shoulders, thereby relieving finger fatigue and improving the practicability of the apparatus. By means of providing a buffer mechanism, a buffering effect on the detection device body is achieved, thereby prolonging the service life of the apparatus.
