Description:
PORTABLE FLOATING CARAVAN

Technological Field:

The present invention relates to a portable floating caravan which has collapsible pontoons, can be carried by a vehicle and can be used both on land and on water.

State of the Art:

From past to present, caravans have been accommodation vehicles that are produced for commercial purposes, for circus, construction site or personal use, with minimum living possibilities in mind.

Today, life moves to natural environments where people can lead their lives independently and freely with their families, from city centers where social life is adversely affected by increasing population and health conditions such as pandemics. Therefore, caravans have gained importance today as a means of pleasure and temporary or long-term accommodation.

Caravans that are currently used are intended for land use only. Generally, a caravan includes a large rectangular caravan body mounted on the chassis. The caravan body has substantially parallel and vertically extending side walls connecting the opposing transverse end walls, and the caravan body therefore has a substantially rectangular shape when viewed in plan view.

The body also includes a base that joins the side and end walls towards their lower edges, and a roof that joins the side and end walls towards their upper edge.

The walls, base and roof together define an interior space that is closed from the outside. The interior is equipped with the normal conditions of a living space in which people can live, including a kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom with toilet.

The caravan body typically has a series of windows defined at the sides and ends of the body, allowing light into the interior and allowing the interior to better serve as an attractive living space.

"Caravans", in particular motor caravan is described in the patent application numbered DE10014317A1.

The invention has a sanitary unit which has shower room and wash basin/toilet located side by side across the caravan, with the wash basin and toilet bowl accessible from the shower room and facing it. A sleeping room is located at the rear in the caravan's longitudinal direction and adjoins the sanitary unit. The sleeping room has at least one bed, and a living room adjoins the sanitary unit at the front, and the shower room is constructed as a through-passage between the living room and sleeping room.

"Expandable Caravan" is described in the patent application numbered AU2017228627A1. The invention relates to an expandable caravan. A side wall of the caravan has an opening and the caravan has a drop-down deck attached to a base of the opening. Further, the drop-down deck has a collapsible tent assembly.

The drop-down deck can be unfolded such that the tent assembly can expand to form an internal room on a side of the caravan. In a reverse process, the drop-down deck and tent assembly can be folded into an upright position suitable for towing where the drop-down deck covers the opening.

"A Caravan Body and a Caravan" is described in the patent application numbered AU2008202933A1. The present invention relates to a caravan body and a caravan comprising a caravan body. The caravan body comprises broadly a left side wall and a right side wall that extends broadly parallel to each other and each said wall and has a front end and a rear end. The front and rear ends of the sidewalls are aligned longitudinally with each other.

The body also includes a rear wall opposite a front wall extending between the front ends of the side walls. The front wall defines a frontward body portion that decreases laterally in width in a forward direction, for example, to form a wedge shaped front wall. In another embodiment, the front body portion is curved inward in the forward direction, decreasing in lateral width. Applications for various caravans are described above. These caravans are suitable for use on land. These are divided into two as motor caravan and travel trailers.

Travel trailers are taken to the desired places with the help of a vehicle. If there is no source such as electricity in the place where they are taken, their requirements can be met with the help of the battery located inside the caravan. Motor caravans, on the other hand, meet these requirements by using the vehicle's fuel and battery.

In addition, in motor caravans, when there is a malfunction in the vehicle, the caravan is directly affected by this malfunction. Such caravans are not suitable for use in areas such as lakes and seas.

Consequently, there is a need for a new technology that can overcome the disadvantages mentioned above.

Definition of the invention:

The present invention is a portable floating caravan which can overcome the above mentioned disadvantages, characterized in that, it has pontoons that can be used both on land and in water, and that can be opened outward while in the water, can be transported on a trailer, during transportation, the pontoons cover less space, has windlass motor that fixes the position while on the water, contains the sections that will provide the necessary opportunities for life, has open spaces for activities such as sunbathing etc., has propulsion engine that enables it to move on the water, an antenna used for communication etc., solar panels for generating electrical energy for use in the caravan, a control panel that controls the engines of the caravan, has a durable and unique structure.

The present invention is a caravan, where the pontoons can be opened outwards, increasing both the usage area and the balance, the user can perform this operation from the control panel alone without exerting any effort, and can be easily transported to the desired location with a wheeled trailer. Thus, it can be used both on land and in water. The windlass motor, which acts as an anchor while on the water and fixes the caravan's position, is located at the front of the caravan.

The hand winch used to pull the caravan from water to land is located at the front of the trailer. No manpower is needed. Inside the caravan, there is everything that a normal caravan should have, and one or more people can spend time comfortably.

There are balconies that enable activities (sunbathing etc.) that can be done at sea, and open areas that can be called terraces on the upper part of the hull. It has a propulsion engine that gives it the ability to move on water. This propulsion engine can be easily operated from the control panel.

An antenna and solar panels are located at the top of the trailer. Antenna, serves to send and receive signals for communication etc. and these operations can be controlled from the control panel. Solar panels store the electrical energy produced by solar energy in a battery in the caravan, allowing it to be used when desired. In this way, it becomes a self-sufficient caravan with electrical energy.

It is easy to install with the help of the easy fixing of the parts that make up the invention, and the costs are low due to the short assembly duration.

Moreover, the present invention has a durable structure.
