Abstract:
Portable rapid decontamination equipment (1), comprising: a tank (6) to hold a decontamination fluid; an air compressor (12) with regulated pressure; a portable frame (24) which moves on wheels and which supports the tank (6) and the compressor (12); and a hand-held decontamination mist generation device (22) configured for connection to a lower end of the tank (6) via a pressurised decontamination fluid supply line (15) and for connection to the compressor (12) via a compressed air feed line (14). The mist generation device (22) comprises a nozzle (21) for the generation of a rotary cone of mist formed by submicrometric particles of said decontamination fluid, and a means (17) for the selection of the particle size, alternating between a plurality of discrete positions corresponding to pre-set particle sizes.
