Abstract:
The invention relates to a portable device for shrinking a sleeve or sock of heat-shrinkable material onto an element, said device comprising at least one adapter (803) which is intended to be connected to a steam generator and which comprises a closed frame having an opening, said frame bearing at least one diffuser nozzle for diffusing steam through the nozzle inside the opening. The invention also relates to a corresponding method, and an associated sleeve, sock or element covered with a sleeve or sock.
