Abstract:
This invention relates to a portable solar powered vehicle charger that can be connected to any vehicle and can be used for a cost-free charging system by filling its batteries with the help of solar panels and its feature is; a charging unit (1), which contains batteries that store electrical energy, electrical components and can be carried by connecting to the back of a vehicle, 2 wheels (2) positioned under the charging unit (1) so that it can move, a hemispherical solar panel (3), which is positioned on the upper part of the charging unit (1) and converts the solar energy into electrical energy and stores it in the batteries inside the charging unit (1), the drawbar (4), which is positioned in the front of the charging unit (1) and enables it to be connected to a vehicle, and in order for the electric vehicle to be charged, it has a connection chamber (5) with a charging cable inside.

PORTABLE SOLAR VEHICLE CHARGER

Technical Field:

This invention relates to a portable solar powered vehicle charger that can be connected to any vehicle and can be used for a cost-free charging system by filling its batteries with the help of solar panels.

State of the Art:

The number of electric vehicles is increasing day by day. In the future, with the development of technology, the majority of vehicles will be electric. Electric vehicles can be charged from charging stations or special sockets located in certain places. However, since these stations are not very common, there are cases where they cannot be found in a close location at the time of need. In addition, as with any service, a fee is paid for charging the vehicle.

"Charging Unit for Electric Vehicle " is described in the patent application numbered JP2011050125A. The invention includes an Electric vehicle charging unit, a charging connector 2 to be connected to an electric vehicle in charging the electric vehicle, and a charging cable 3 with a charging connector 2 at the end. The cradle has a charging cable storage unit and a charging cable storage unit in the vertical lower part of the cradle body. It is equipped with a cable support extending from the lower surface or rear surface of the charging body to the lower part and also extending in a horizontal direction with respect to the floor surface.

"Electric Vehicle Charger" is described in the patent application numbered US2012212180A1. An electric vehicle charger includes: a first winder unit and a second winder unit for winding and holding a charging cable having a charging connector at its end portion; and a body unit for arranges the first winder unit and the second winder unit with the distance between the first winder unit and the second winder unit set longer than the diameter of the charging cable, wherein the charging cable passes between the first winder unit and the second winder unit, and the charging cable is fixed before passing between the first winder unit and the second winder unit.

Various charging units in fixed positions are described above. These units are placed in certain locations and the batteries of the vehicles are charged. Since charging units are rare in general, charging is not always done everywhere. In addition, certain amounts of fees are paid considering the profit of the company placing the charging unit and the electricity prices.

Consequently, there is a need for new technology that can overcome the disadvantages mentioned above.

Description of the Invention:

This invention is a portable solar powered vehicle charging unit that can overcome the disadvantages mentioned above, and its feature is; It can be connected to any vehicle, it can be transported, it converts solar energy to electrical energy and stores it, it reduces the cost thanks to the use of hemispherical solar panel and solar energy.

The invention can be connected to the rear of the vehicle thanks to the tow bar at the front. In this way, the charging station will be next to the vehicle anytime, anywhere. It is also possible to assist an electric vehicle stranded on the road. Thanks to the hemispherical solar panel, the sun's rays will fall perpendicular to the solar panel, regardless of the direction of the road and vehicle or the position of the sun. In this way, maximum energy can be stored. Since the solar panel stores energy for the batteries in the charging unit, there is no cost. In addition, where the sun is not too visible, the batteries can be recharged at a charging station. In this way, situations such as staying on the road etc. are prevented. It is easy to install thanks to the easy fixing of the parts that make up the invention, and the costs are low due to the short assembly time. Moreover, the invention has a solid construction.

Detailed Description of The Invention:

The parts constituting the invention are basically; charging unit (1), wheel (2), solar panel (3), drawbar (4) and connection chamber (5).

There is a mobile charging unit (1) that can be connected to a vehicle. The charging unit (1) contains batteries and electrical components. In order for the charging unit (1) to move, 2 wheels (2) are positioned at the bottom. A hemispherical solar panel (3) is positioned on the upper part of the charging unit (1). The solar panel (3) converts the sun rays into electrical energy and stores them in the batteries in the charging unit (1). In addition, the batteries in the charging unit (1) can be charged with a mains connection. There is a drawbar (4) in front of the charging unit (1). Thanks to the drawbar (4), the charging unit (1) can be attached to the back of a vehicle. There is a connection chamber (5) at the front of the charging unit (1). There is a charging cable inside the connection chamber (5). In this way, electric vehicles can be charged.

In an alternative embodiment of the invention, the charging unit (1) can be produced in different sizes and a living environment can be created inside. In this way, the system can be used as a portable caravan.
