Abstract:
A technique of reporting position information with high reliability and with high accuracy for emerging contact. At step S2, a portable telephone waits from the waiting state at step S1 until an emergency report direction is received. On receiving an emergency report direction (Yes), the portable telephone sends a detail positioning report at step S3. At step S4, dial calling is made. At step S5, it is judged whether or not there is any callout stop direction. If there is a calling stop direction, the process moves to step S10. If there is no calling stop direction, the process moves to step S6, and it is judged whether or not there is any response. If there is no response (No), the process returns to step S5. If there is a response (Yes), the process moves to step S7, and the user makes conversation. Then the process moves to step S8 to send a simple positioning report (sends Draft longitude/lattitude information to a call server). At step S9, the portable telephone waits until a call end direction. If there is a call end direction (Yes), the process moves to step S10 to judge whether or not there is any other emergency report direction. If there is another emergency report direction, the process returns to step S4. If there is no other emergency report direction (No), the process moves to step S11 to judge whether or not a detail positioning report ends (step S11). If it has not ended (No), the process return to step S4. If it has ended (Yes), the process moves to step S12 and comes into a waiting state.
