Abstract:
Provided is a portable terminal capable of securing an adequate uplink communication speed when the uplink signal has a large capacity. The portable terminal includes a threshold value storage unit, an information amount classification determination unit, and a priority information generator. The threshold value storage unit stores a threshold value for dividing the size of a transmission information amount into classifications. The information amount classification determination unit acquires the transmission information amount of transmission data, and determines the classification of the transmission information amount by referring to the stored threshold value. The priority information generator generates priority information indicating whether to prioritize the uplink or the downlink, so as to correspond to the determined classification.
