Abstract:
The present invention is a portable work machine in which an engine is arranged in the internal space of an engine case (1), an ignition coil (3) for igniting the engine is provided to the side of the engine, and a high-pressure cord (5) is wired from the ignition coil (3) to a spark plug of the engine, wherein pathway members (11a, 11b) for guiding and housing the high-pressure cord (5) are provided on the top-surface side of the engine case (1), in a channel leading from the area where the ignition coil (3) is installed to the area where the spark plug is positioned.
