Abstract:
Communication terminals (200) propagate a distance packet, and the distance packet is transmitted to a position determination apparatus (300) via access points (110). The distance packet includes a starting-point distance, an end-point distance, and a terminal distance. The starting-point distance is the distance between a starting-point terminal and a starting point that is an access point detected by the starting-point terminal. The end-point distance is the distance between an end-point terminal and an end point that is an access point detected by the end-point terminal. The terminal distance is the distance between the communication terminals. The position determination apparatus determines the positions of the communication terminals on the basis of the distances included in the distance packet, coordinate values of the starting point, and coordinate values of the end point.
