This position estimation system (10) comprises: an acquisition unit (34) that acquires image information regarding an image of an indoor space in which a person is located; an estimation unit (35) that estimates the coordinates of the person in the indoor space on the basis of the acquired image information; and a position information acquisition unit (36) that acquires position information regarding a first communication device (41) from a positioning system (40). The estimation unit (35) uses the estimated coordinates of the person and the acquired position information as a basis to estimate the coordinates of the first communication device (41), which is to be held by the person, then uses the communication state between a third communication device (50) held by an object other than the person and the first communication device (41) in question and the estimated coordinates of the first communication device (41) in question as a basis to estimate the coordinates of the object in the indoor space.
