Abstract:
A positional information transmission program according to an aspect of the present invention is executed by a computer in a system provided with a first terminal device carried by a user, a vehicle, a second terminal device, and a server device to thereby transmit the positional information of the first terminal device from the first terminal device to the second terminal device via the server device, said positional information transmission program causing the computer to function as a situation assessment unit that assesses, on the basis of vehicle detection information sent from the vehicle, whether or not the user is in a situation of being located within a predetermined close range to the vehicle, a positional information acquisition unit that acquires positional information indicating the location of the first terminal device, and a transmission control unit that controls a terminal-side communication instrument and/or a server-side communication instrument such that the positional information is transmitted from the first terminal device to the second terminal device via the server device in a transmission mode capable of determining whether or not the user is located within the close range.
