Abstract:
A positioning control method for controlling the position of a control object based on an moving amount YS of the control object before it is stopped, a target speed VS of the control object, an acceleration time ta of the control object, a deceleration time td of the control object, a speed displacement $g(D)Va during acceleration time, and a speed displacement $g(D)Vd during deceleration time, wherein an moving amount before starting deceleration of the control object, i.e. a deceleration start moving amount Ysd, is determined as the sum of the integer part YSdq and the decimal part YSdr of the deceleration start moving amount and the decimal part is managed for means generating an output pulse in response to a speed command so that a deceleration time can be set independently of the acceleration time thus ensuring accurate positioning.
