Abstract:
The present application discloses a positioning method and apparatus, which are used for positioning any one of two ends of an established sidelink relative to the other end, thereby implementing a rapid positioning scheme for a sidelink scenario. The positioning method provided by the present application comprises: sending a first positioning reference signal to an opposite end that establishes a sidelink with a local end, and determining a first positioning measurement amount by means of performing positioning measurement on a second positioning reference signal sent by the opposite end; acquiring a second positioning measurement amount sent by the opposite end, wherein the second positioning measurement amount is obtained by performing positioning measurement on the first positioning reference signal by means of the opposite end; and determining positioning information by using the first positioning measurement amount and the second positioning measurement amount.
