Abstract:
A method for estimating the position of a rotor of a switched reluctance motor for a full range of speeds. A magnetic flux relational formula within a winding and an instantaneous voltage of the switched reluctance motor are defined, and the rotational speed of the motor is divided into low speed, moderate speed, and high speed; in a low speed operating state, sector triggering is selected according to a comparison of a current response value and a current threshold, so as to determine the position of a rotor of the motor; in the moderate speed operating state, lookup and determination are performed on the position of the rotor of the motor via a preset data table according to the change in the number of pulses injected as the rotational speed of the motor changes; in the high speed operating state, considering that the number of pulses that can be injected is small, a capacitor charge loop is designed, enabling a response current formed by an injected pulse voltage to charge a capacitor, a capacitor side voltage is measured, and then lookup is performed on a voltage-rotor position preset data table according to a point capacitor voltage value, and the position of the rotor is determined. The present invention can implement full range position estimation for a rotor of a motor, and the problem of traditional injection of a fixed number of pulses causing practical engineering problems as well as the problem of an inaccurate positional angle of the rotor of the motor are solved.
