Abstract:
A positioning method and a positioning system for a CNC tool turret. The method comprises the following steps: numbering toolholders (5), establishing a coordinate system to acquire relative position coordinates of cutting edges of tools on a tool disc (4), and pairing the serial numbers of the toolholders (5) with the relative position coordinates of the tools; and after a tool change, acquiring the relative position coordinates of the replacement tool, and replacing the relative position coordinates of the replaced tool with same so as to now match said replacement coordinates with the serial number of the corresponding toolholder (5). After each tool change, a tool is automatically positioned without the need for manual measurement by workers, thus shortening the preparation time of a CNC tool turret, improving machining efficiency, and achieving high machining precision.
