A positive displacement motor drill, consisting of an anti-falling assembly (1), a motor assembly (2), a universal shaft assembly (3) and a transmission shaft assembly (4), wherein the transmission shaft assembly consists of a mandrel (4a), a lower TC outer cylinder (4b), an upper gear (4c), a transmission rod (4d), a lower gear (4e), a valve shell (4f), a moving valve block (4g) and a fixed valve block (4h); the moving valve block connected to the lower gear of the transmission shaft assembly via an outer gear ring is arranged inside the mandrel of the transmission shaft assembly; the mandrel and the valve shell are in threaded connection; the fixed valve block is fixed inside the valve shell via threads; and the rotatable moving valve block is in contact with the fixed valve block fixed inside the valve shell via a smooth end face. Meanwhile, also disclosed is a rock breaking well drilling method for a positive displacement motor drill. By means of the positive displacement motor drill and the rock breaking well drilling method therefor, the rock breaking efficiency and the mechanical well drilling speed can be effectively improved, and the well drilling cost is reduced.
