Abstract:
The present invention relates to a positive electrode active material precursor capable of achieving a positive electrode active material in the form of a single particle even when heat treatment is performed at a low temperature. Specifically, the present invention relates to: a positive electrode active material precursor comprising a first positive electrode active material precursor having a composition represented by Chemical Formula 1 described in the present specification and including a composite transition metal in the form of a single particle, and at least one selected from among a second positive electrode active material precursor having a composition represented by Chemical Formula 2 described in the present specification and a third positive electrode active material precursor having a composition represented by Chemical Formula 3 described in the present specification; a method for preparing a positive electrode active material using same; and a positive electrode active material prepared thereby.
