Abstract:
Provided are a positive electrode composite material, a preparation method therefor, a positive electrode, and a lithium ion secondary battery. The positive electrode composite material comprises: a positive electrode active material; and a coating layer coating the positive electrode active material, the coating layer comprising one or more among a polysaccharide-containing organic polymer, polyvinyl alcohol, and polypropylene alcohol. By means of the positive electrode composite material, the method for preparing the positive electrode composite material, and the positive electrode and lithium ion secondary battery containing the positive electrode composite material of the present invention, a side reaction between a positive electrode active material and an electrolyte in the lithium ion secondary battery can be effectively inhibited, dissolution of a transition metal in the positive electrode active material is reduced, positive electrode active material particles are prevented from being crushed, and the initial Coulombic efficiency and cycle performance of the lithium ion secondary battery are improved.
