Abstract:
The present invention relates to a positive electrode for a lithium-air battery, a method for manufacturing the same, and a lithium-air battery comprising the same. The present invention comprises: a core formed in a needle shape and comprising a cobalt oxide or an oxide containing two or more metals selected from the group consisting of nickel, cobalt, manganese, zinc, iron, copper, and chrome; and a shell formed in a flake shape and comprising a manganese oxide. Such a core-shell structure can retain excellent capacitance characteristics of a transition metal oxide, lower the charging voltage of the lithium-air battery, and increase the cycle lifespan. In addition, the positive electrode for a lithium-air battery according to the present invention can be manufactured without containing carbon and a binder.
