Abstract:
The purpose of the present application is to provide a positive electrode mix for a lithium ion secondary battery, wherein the positive electrode mix can be prepared regardless of the type of binder, can be prepared more easily than through active material washing, etc., and exhibits a suppressed increase in viscosity over time such as during storage. In order to achieve the purpose, the present invention pertains to a positive electrode mix for a lithium ion secondary battery, the positive electrode mix comprising: a positive electrode active material including a lithium metal oxide represented by formula (1); a vinylidene fluoride polymer; and additives selected from the group consisting of alkali metal salts and alkaline earth metal salts.
