Abstract:
This positively chargeable single-layer electrophotographic photosensitive body (1) is provided with a photosensitive layer (3). The photosensitive layer (3) contains a polycarbonate resin, a compound represented by general formula (I), and one or more compounds selected from among compounds represented by general formula (II), (III) or (IV). The Vickers hardness of the polycarbonate resin and the compound represented by general formula (I) is 16.0 HV or more. The Vickers hardness is obtained by subjecting a dispersion, which is obtained by dispersing 30 parts by mass of the compound represented by formula (I) in 100 parts by mass of the polycarbonate resin, to measurement.
