Abstract:
A pouch battery cell according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an electrode assembly including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; and a battery case to which the electrode assembly is mounted, wherein: the battery case comprises an upper case including a first reception part and a lower case including a second reception part; in the battery case, sealing parts in which outer circumference surfaces of the upper case and the lower case are thermally fused to each other are formed; and one end of at least a portion of the sealing parts is indented toward the inside of the battery case.
