Abstract:

Disclosed is a pouch cutting apparatus for secondary batteries, the pouch cutting apparatus for cutting remaining portions of the terrace of a pouch-type secondary battery except for folded portions of the terrace. The pouch cutting apparatus for secondary batteries comprises: a frame; a lower cutting unit which is fixed below the front surface of the frame and supports the lower portion of the terrace in the length direction of the terrace so that the remaining portions extend beyond the rear surface of the lower cutting unit while the pouch-type secondary battery is fixed to be cut; and an upper cutting unit which is liftably arranged above the front surface of the frame and cuts the remaining portions extending beyond the rear surface of the lower cutting unit, wherein the upper cutting unit comprises: an upper cutter extending in the length direction of the terrace and having a laterally quadrangular cross-section; and an upper cutter holder having a lower surface with the upper cutter fixed and mounted thereto via multiple bolts vertically penetrating the upper cutter.
