Abstract:
A pouch-type battery case according to an embodiment of the present invention can accommodate an electrode assembly in which an electrode and a separator are alternately stacked. The pouch-type battery case may comprise: a pair of indented portions having an indented shape; a pair of terraces positioned on the circumference of the pair of indented portions while the battery case is in an unfolded state, and formed to be inclined in the direction in which the terraces move closer to each other toward the bottom; and a bridge which is positioned between the pair of indented portions and connects the pair of indented portions, and which has a pair of connecting surfaces formed to be inclined in the direction in which the connecting surfaces move closer to each other toward the top from the bottom of the pair of indented portions. The angle formed by the pair of terraces can be an obtuse angle while the battery case is in an unfolded state.
