Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pouch-type battery cell comprising: a battery case made of a laminate sheet; an electrode assembly accommodated in the battery case, and having an electrode tab protruding therefrom; an electrode lead electrically connected to the electrode tab, and extending outside the battery case; and a gas discharge part located inside the electrode lead, wherein it is possible to prevent the internal pressure of the pouch-type battery cell from rising above a certain level.
