Abstract:
A powder coating material which is used for a powder coating method that comprises a step wherein a melt of the powder coating material is adhered to the outer surface of an exposed part of a coil end of a coil by immersing the coil end in a fluidization tank in which the powder coating material flows, said coil end having a conductor part that is covered with an insulating cover, while being provided with the exposed part where the conductor part is exposed from the insulating cover. This powder coating material contains a particulate thermosetting resin composition; the thermosetting resin composition contains an epoxy resin and a curing agent; the particle diameter d90 of the thermosetting resin composition as determined by a laser diffraction method is from 55 μm to 200 μm; the flow rate change index R of the powder coating material is from 0% to 26%; and the flow rate X(0) of the powder coating material before storage is from 15% to 60%.
